3 bar map sensor for speed density fuel injected engines with superchargers or turbochargers. If you are running a forced induction application with more then 14.7psi, you need one of these if you want your ecu to compensate fuel and timing when the manifold pressure rises above 14.7psi. Unlike the 1 bar (for N/A motors) and the 2 bar (max 14.7psi), the 3 bar will allow your computer to read up to 30 psi!
